Starter Battery Cable

Anyone know where to buy a replacement cable from battery to starter? The 2 gauge red I believe.

I got mine from o'relly> just used a rope to measure the length and went from there. any auto parts store or even wall-mart will have them.

Jongainey, great idea of measuring with a rope.

Dont for get to get a cable hold down clamp where it ties down at the chassis.

I saw one at Advanced Auto parts but it was 4 gauge - I had the counter guy look it up on his computer and he said 4 gauge was what the computer was saying was the right part for it.

I found 2 and 0 at NAPA. If they don't have it in stock they can order it and usually have it within a 1/2 day to a day.

what Gauge wire should those be

That is 2 guage or Zero guage

The battery cables for the CUCV are not in any computer at the local parts houses.

If you look at the wiring diagrams and also the first few pages of the troubleshooting section (tells you how to read the diagrams), you will see that the battery cables are size 32 which is a 2 Guage wire.
