Starter Is grinding

Hi folks,

I'm watching to replace this mt27 with mt28 as you Say to me but i Need your help.

For buying the correct starter motor i Need to know the starter nose"s flange diameter.
At this point I'm assumimg my starter nose was changed and I not take in consideration It measure.



I found an mt28 in germany but the seller before sell to me want to know the starter nose's flange diameter.


Hope any of you have this information.

I suggest another 27MT starter nose cone at a minimum. Another known good starter would be best in my opinion. Make sure and use the support bracket appropriate for whatever starter you end up with as well.

Tnks Barman, It's very difficult to find this mt27's nose cone (here in europe..)so I put in standby the replacement for buying a new mt28 .

Refurbishment prj Will be my task in the future. Now my goal Is to start this engine

If you get the MT28. Get the MT28 specific support bracket. It is different than the MT27 support bracket.

Strange days for buying stuff from usa (when you live outside usa)...However i've assumed my mt27 was fake, and I buy a mt28 with his bracket.
Stuff has arrived Friday from usa , today i put up and works very fine ( the starter motor, not the fuel pump wich bleed diesel but this Is another topic ).
