STE ICE and Circuit board.

Had to remove my STE port today to mount some gauges there while updating my starter relay. I followed the wires and cut those that did not go anywhere other than the fire wall. The glow plug board was wired in with splices, and I cut those that went to the port and dead ended. Lastly, there was another box with a connector in it. It was empty. I removed that also. My glow plug card now has two wires running to / from it. Will it work? I'd rather fix it before it blows, or just pull it and go to a switch like my tractor. At least I could add the card to my pile of parts to help some one else some day. PS, my short tested out at 5 milli-amps, I think, if I read the analog gauge right. I set it to "10" just above ".5" and got a reading of "5". I decided to not worry about it. My parts pile: 2 black out lights painted black. 2 cat eyes lights. Jump start connections. 2 Pintle hooks. 2 antennae brackets I thought were lost, but weren't. STE port. 2 upper parts of gun racks that rattled all the time. Something I need in my quest for quite-tude is the vent window weatherstrips. I know I can buy them, but the heads I cracked and the 24v starter I needed, then all this lately stuff has my credit in arrears. One cool thing, I came across a cruise control I found in a yard sale awhile ago. Looks like it might work. I could set it for 45mph highway speed and cruise along, no rear view mirror, no worries:)

Can you post a picture of the wiring that you see? It's difficult to visualize and determine if it will work or not.

I fail to understand why you are just cutting stuff out that you do not know where they go to. Why not u clip them. Or tuck them up into the dash. Or put your gauges somewhere else???
