The SEE is one of the Freightliner/Unimog tractor series of the 80th. They build 2086 units of the Small Emplacement Excavator.
The engine is a 350cui/5,7 l direct injected Diesel (no glow plugs)
We purchased our MV some years ago. We maintenance and service this well running special MV.We do some work in the neighborhood
and have fun to ride with other enthusiasts thru the forest or at the gravel pit.

The load with the excavator is inducing a large amount of squat, but the truck is still firmly rooted in the front How much more squat would accept if you were going to be travelling at freeway speeds (55mph)?

And, as always, it is going to be a hard decision on who to vote for. Several of the trucks look nice and several are workhorses, but as we know both categories have their own beauty and appeal.

That was with a normal 5 ton spring pack. With the wrecker springs i have on the truck now she wont squat. Excavators dont like to sit on the metal wheel wells on the trailer without sliding. It was an offroad only haul so i wanted it firmly on the trailer.

Shes stylish and pretty. Air conditioning and 16 speed cat installed in it as well.

The Hannibal 8 and crew humbly request your vote. This truck attends car shows, volunteer service projects, Veterans and military oriented events serving as a good will ambassador to the community. Its not done for any glory, but maybe for the chance for an old Vet to stop, take a longing gander reminded of their fleeting youth and maybe offer up a story of their service to our nation.

But, most importantly, it also promotes and encourages monetary or time donations to the crew's monthly benefiting Veterans' charities:

In addition to support for law enforcement (which the Delta element is a 24 year Veteran of) and their support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Research, funds this past year were raised in excess of $2000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF)
https://www.bcrf.org/ and to the Pink Patch Project http://www.irwindaleca.gov/index.aspx?NID=363.

The Hannibal 8 is a proud supporter of these causes putting the money where the mouth is!

Respectfully submitted...

Again, giving back is what its all about especially this time of year. The Hannibal 8 and crew attended Honoring Our Fallen Car Show in Long Beach, CA yesterday.
Please consider during your voting for the month of November.
