:naner:Did I miss the Memo:naner:

Let me introduce you to "Reis the Beast", a 1995 M1078A0, conceived July 24 2018, Fort Bragg, NC, and delivered by the Dr, the legend and the man himself, SIMP5782. Wes, a hero who forded great depths, persevered through active mud slides, tornadoes/monsoon rains and colossal traffic jams successfully completed the classified mission, he delivered Reis on 18 April 2019. After 9 months of being protected, a few doctors appointments, with a snip here and a lil take from there:mrgreen: [Combatmp/mike in Nc.] Mike cared for the ugly baby, protecting her from thieves until gestation/delivery.

On 18 April she made her first baby steps of 2 miles, it was a rough time, not truly up to the task, but she made it to her new home with only a slight groan and blaring alarm. Pics you say, well unfortunately, the baby is ugly. But I promise today some pics will be posted.

In a previous life she supported some special missions, assigned to the 3ESC 264CSSB. Her last mission was 4 May 2018, supporting "Warriors on the Water" out of Fort Bragg. I would love to hear from anyone who put a foot to the pedal. TC SGT Penton, OP SPC Hawkins.

With some outstanding help from Steel Solder members, I have been feverishly working to get her on 4 feet, thus far, new batteries, led headlights, door lock drivers, door seals, over door convex mirrors, new front led turns, and remote start. Gutted the interior, and tracking down some electrical problems. Long term plans-expo type rig.

I am sure there will be some question about the name, Reis the Beast is named in the memory of my father Reis aka Richard, who recently passed. A 100% Dutchman, who survived ww2, as a young man in Holland. Until the day he died wore wooden shoes and loved his Dutch heritage. I wish he would have been able to see her.
A toast :beer:to you dad for always teaching me, even when i didn't seem to appreciate it.

I'm in the process of converting my M373A2 into a RV/Rally camper. I have a lot of pictures and will start a build thread when I get a little more done. In the mean time here are a few pictures to start out.

The trailer was your basic storage type. There were no windows or electrics added and there was a linoleum floor. I've installed windows, painted the inside, added walls, electrical, hot and cold water with shower, bathroom vanity, kitchen counter and cabinets.

It's still a work in progress and I currently stay in it three days a week at the airport where I work. There is a nice comfy bed and AC.

I have lots more to post but will save that for the build thread. Thanks to RAYER for his help and advice.
