I'll start off the campaigning with Miss January 2021 - my 1981 M813A1

There has been a lot of work done to this beast since its January nomination - mainly a turbo setup, a #17 fuel button, a coolant filter, and finishing the heater-in-a-can project. Here are the highlights:

Here are the other mods I've done beyond the factory awesomeness of an 813 that are buried in the truck of the month campaigning thread:

And finally, here's a video cruising around after the turbo install 😁

There's some stiff competition this year, but my truck and I would appreciate any votes you may want to send our way 😁

I will be looking forward to hanging up this year's calendar for sure!

Hi

Great looking truck, but you have me confused which side is the heater mounted. In one photo it's on the right and another it is on the left. Did you swap sides for better breathing for the tubo?

Cheers Phil

The heater was on the passenger side and not plumbed in for 2 years until I did the turbo install. At that point the heater moved to the driver side and was finally hooked up to coolant lines and the heater ducts.

Lookin Good Chucky!

That dark wood just makes that inside setup look really sharp. With solar panels on the roof and that custom box on the back with the "cut back" to keep from losing "approach" angle on the back is really nice.
Thanks Ive give it my all and theres things i would have done different apon reflection but i have put some new ideals down on paper if i have another build left in me and im going to take the truck out this week and try to get some new pictures in a better setting so more pics to come and good luck to everybody on here you all deserve MVOTY and thanks to all that take the time to vote we couldnt do it without you!!!!!
