Hello!

I am 52 years old at the moment, but I think I am still a little boy and will stay with him.
That is, I do not feel as old as I am.
And I believe this will always be the case.
I do not want to be younger either. When I think of what I would have before me.

Ich bin im moment 52 Jahre alt, aber ich glaube, ich bin immer noch ein kleiner Bub und werde es auch bleiben.
Das heißt, ich fühle mich nicht so alt wie ich bin.
Und ich glaube, das wird auch immer so bleiben.
Ich möchte auch nicht mehr jünger sein. Wenn ich daran denke, was ich dann noch alles vor mir hätte.

Another small addition:

When I camp in winter in the tent, whether with the motorbike or the Chevy, most people say I'm no longer tight in my head. So crazy.
But why not do it? As long as you are healthy for it, you can do it.

Or most people would not drive with the Chevy M1008. Too uncomfortable, too slow, too loud, too old, etc.
It is in today's fast time beautiful, comfortable with a maximum 55 miles drive.
And without electronics, I alone decide what my vehicle should do, not vice versa.

Such things are for me also to remain young in the head. So have nonsense in your head.

Nevertheless you can be with the wisdom of age.

Aber warum soll man das nicht machen? Solange man gesund dafür ist, kann man das machen.

Oder die meisten Leute würden nicht mit dem Chevy M1008 fahren. Zu unbequem, zu langsam, zu laut, zu alt usw.
Dabei ist es in der heutigen schnellen Zeit schön, gemütlich mit höchstens 55 miles zu fahren.
Und ohne Elektronik, ich alleine entscheide, was mein Fahrzeug machen soll, nicht umgekehrt.

Solche Sachen gehören für mich auch dazu, jung im Kopf zu bleiben. Also Flausen im Kopf zu haben.

Trotzdem kann man ja altersweise sein.

Beyond what is listed on my standard reply..... M816 wrecker, trailers - two M332 ammo - M989a1 ammo - five M105 cargo - five M101 cargo, 7 additional M37s some running and some not, M2B Navy crash truck for restoration, 1943 weasel for restore, 1978 Sea Bee Allis Chalmers A60 forklift, M43 ambulance for restore, M109 (M35) shop van for parts and two XM791s to restore. My daughter has a M43 ambulance up and running. My son has his M37, M35a1, 5 ton tractor, 5 ton dump, 6 ton U8144 1941 Autocar and a running M35 chassis he wants to bob along with 3 M105 beds for the project. All these are stabled together on our farm. .... My wish list would add an M5 high speed tractor, a Sherman and a Cletrac. My son would probably like to add an M548, LARC-5, DUKw, and Half Track. Before we get more, we should finish what we have ... never gonna happen.

Reckon I'm still 48. Like Phil, I have some youngsters at 7 and 2. No retirement anytime soon for me.

My how things have changed. 59, retired 4 years, 7 is now 18 and owns a deuce, 2 is now 13 and life has been good.
