Got to the yard around 11 on Friday and was brought to the truck. Was told it was a non runner so I was hoping for a quick fix. Batteries were good and all it needed was a good priming and she came to life. Had an injector line come loose and ended up driving for over an hour on 5 cylinders. When we stopped for lunch is when I noticed all the fuel spray, tightened it back up and made sure the rest were good. Tired were low and ctis was non operational, cable was taped so I didn't even mess with it. She smoked like a chimney the first 100 miles or so but once the diesel clean worked its way through her she read good.
I forgot to take pictures so I had my buddy send me the ones he took.
Two days of driving for her the 600 miles to get to her new owner. Top speed according to the gps was 65.
Had my buddy ride with me and we swapped driving duties in the truck. He said driving the truck was the best thing he could have done since getting out of the army.
