Sunday Ride

Thought I'd share a few pictures of our ride last Sunday. I let my brother and his wife drive the Humvee and we drove the 151. On Saturday I changed engine, trans, transfer case, diffs and geared hub oils. Also greased all fittings, looked things over, etc. Was a challenge getting truck on lift as there wasn't much room for clearance. Had to drive over lift arms. Supported them with wood blocks. We left at 8:15am and arrived back home before dark. 225 miles in total. Stopped multiple times, packed a picnic lunch. Was a good time. Only issue was a rear flat tire on my 151 from a screw. Quick fix and back on the road. Humvee worked perfectly.

I was pleased with the condition of the fluids that were changed. They were cleaner then I thought they'd be. The grease fittings were pretty hungry. The underside of the truck is also in very good condition.
