My uncle was a gunner on a TBM. Served during the Solomon islands stuff. Was wounded twice and was on one (maybe two) carriers that went down. When he was in his 90's he finally shared some of the stories with me. Even in his 80's he was one heck of a shot! Thanks for the pics, I hadn't thought about Uncle Bill for a while, he was quite a guy.

No, it is down in Florida for the winter. Just like all Ohioans that can afford it.
