Okay, I have a used fuel tank that I had ReNu process done on. Want to reinstall the fuel tank, but before I do, I want to make sure the fuel sending unit works. Someone told me there's a quick and easy way to test a fuel sending unit with a multimeter to see if it will work, prior to installing the gas tank and filling up with gas. Any helpers, please?

Use an Ohmeter.... one wire to the terminal, one to ground

Make sure you have a smooth transition of reading on the full range.

Cranetruck, your pic is exactly what I needed. Will test it out this weekend and see what the multimeter says!
