TH400 to NV4500 crossmember

Can't really find a straight answer on this, I do know the 700r4 to NV4500 works without changing the crossmember.

Can I use my existing crossmember for my th400+np208 for an nv4500 swap? I think a spacer is still involved since the manual is mounted higher.

I think I used 2” square tube. Everything worked fine.

Resurrecting this thread real quick.

Did you use the 2" tubing to raise the trans/t-case up 2" or 4"?
I have some 2" tubing now but I think there was some miscommunication whether or not the tube was horizontal giving 2" of space, or vertical and cut to 4" of space.
