Wish to thank Brandon, AMGeneral, and Bjorn, cranetruck, for meeting up with me on Saturday at Bjorn's place in Southern VA. It was a long time in the making, mainly just to shoot the sh*t and exchange some goodies between ourselves, some for us, and some for others as we worked the "Steel Soldiers Freight Service" in moving gear around for other folks. Bjorn was a great host, who provided help in unloading a deuce engine and my M100 trailer with the pipeline/HIAB crane truck, Brandon went to a lot of trouble hauling the stuff north on his flatbed trailer, and hauling some tires/rims and a towbar south for other folks. Also thanks go out to Bjorn's daughter for watching over my own daughter as Syndi was inside coloring and trying to bear the boredom as daddy played outside with green iron. Thanks to all, I appreciate your time in meeting up!

I didn't take any photos, except for one. Below: a few of the heavy hitters of Steel Soldiers in one place. If any more awesome entered the picture, the space/time continuum would start unraveling.

Good meeting you Mike and Brandon!
Weather turned out good for the Saturday with a cold morning (25°F overnight), snow/rain the day before and rain all day Sunday.
Was a little concerned about the biodiesel/veggie/kerosene/diesel mix in the tank, but the deuce started and ran well.
Many thanks to Brandon for bringing Kenny's (Recovry4x4) multi!
Mike, Linnea enjoyed the drawing session with your daughter...

There is an off-road trail in the works, so next time you'll be able to drive the 8x8 also.

Pictures from your visit are still in the camera to be posted later.

Hmmm,wonder if I'm Larry,Moe,or Curley?

It was a bit chilly in the morning but it seemed to warm up quickly,It was good to get to see Bjorn and Mike again(I usually only get to see em at Aberdeen).

The Dodge did OK (as always) and managed 15 mpg up and 16 back(13K and 12K GVW respectively).

Headwizard,I still have your 5 ton front springs,I'll take em to Aberdeen with me and meet you somewhere along the way to deliver em.

Glad the motor finally made the trek Bjorn. Thanks for that Brandon! Save me that "C" turbo!

Thanks Kenny! The first of several MOs will go out tomorrow.
Brandon left a turbo here, looks like a "C", do you want it shipped to Florida?

Some images from the visit below...

Bjorn, I'm not concerned with any MO's right now. I'm in no hurry for the turbo either so if you can stash it for me, that would be great. If you need it gone, let me know what it would cost to ship it. I'm just glad to be able to help get the deuce back on the road!

This is what Bjorn did for me!
