If that's where I'm thinking it is the gate to it was closed this year. Not 100% though
We rode over there from the access road near the porto potty just to check out the place this time. Maybe one gate was closed, but the path near the field was open.

When I checked in, they told me how to get to the rally site and warned me that the first road with the gate closed was not part of what we paid for and to make sure I went to the second entrance. She told me that both areas were rented out separately.
