Some of you may remember me asking some questions. Well I bought the 998 and already made some changes. Mostly just clean up, oil change, CARC Sub paint, LED running lights, cup holders, center console thingy, new decals, keyed fuel shutoff, new seat pads and a few other odds and ends. Here are some before and after pictures.

These holes here on the side seems like there was armored mounted unto them that was filled in with those bolts
I thought that was what you were referring to. It also had a crappy mismatched grille I assume they half-ass threw on there during the de-milling after taking off the armored one. Not sure about the shocks and "other parts" you are referring to. What do I need to look for?

Im not sure what to exactly look for to see what's different between the M998 and upgraded shocks but I know all the experts says the armored one received upgraded shocks, springs, and some other stuff. I'm sure one of the experts here going to mention it.

Yea, the guys that do the demil does some of the stupidest things in the most lazy way possible. My whole dashboard looks like it was demilled by a bear lol

Allot of what people think is "demil" work is not, remember many of these are tossed into a bone pile before being sold and the "demil" work is someone scavenging a part and they care not about the damage they leave behind.

they aren't necessarily an "upgrade", just a designed for a different amount of weight. With the weight removed, they can be considered a downgrade for what they do to the vehicle ride quality.
