Thermostat housing fittings

So the return line 90 degree fitting on the top of the thermostat housing on my motor was broken off, I used an easy out to get it out and now need to replace it...

Does anyone know what size thread that is?

I think it may be 1/8th NPT but I'm not sure... Also is the thermostat housing Aluminum or Cast Iron? In which case I would need to use a fitting that would not corrode with that...

Thanks, I presume you used a thread locker/sealant ... thats what I'm planning on anyway.

I used a Teflon thread compound by Permatex.
