Thoughts on an FMTV bumper on a CUCV?

Got an FMTV bumper, thinking about removing the factory bumper and welding the FMTV bumper in place.

Waddya think?

With a torch + welder you can do whatever you want. I like coloring outside the lines.

I cut down an MRAP bumper and put on one.


Instead of altering the truck, i suggest all alterations be made to the bumper and that it only require bolts to attach to the truck....

Why, the CUCV bumper is stronger then the POS LMTV bumper.

Just get some plate steel and make a proper bumper mount bracket to weld to the FMTV bumper.
