Tight Turn Steering Stutter

Ok, I adjusted my wheel stops as per my recent post.

On tighter turns in the parking lot, I am getting some front end shake or the feeling like the wheels are not in sync. Happens at all speeds (relatively speaking)

Other information:

1. No leaks.
2. Straight travel is excellent.
3. Steering is not loose or wanders.
4. Tires are not rubbing.
5. Clamps on tie rods are not hitting, oriented in the correct direction.

I would jack up the front end and check for travel in the ball joints.

Have you had it High Lock and not reversed in a straight line recently? Ditto Action.

All the 4wd trucks I have owned have done that when turning sharp in 4wd. The fix is to make wide turns when in 4wd. It is very bad for the front end joints to allow that kind of binding. If you turn sharp in loose dirt you will be able to see the wheels slipping as one tries to spin faster than the other.

No worries friend. We've all done it. It's easy to overshoot H to HL when shifting and some TC Lock lights don't go on/off reliably (like mine).
