How tall are those tires? Have you thought about putting 36/37" HMMWV tires on it? Has anyone here done it? I'm looking for some pics and info to complete my M1008 project.

They are about 36 " or so . I have thought about the hummer tires but they are 16.5s and I hate those . I really like the 11.00r16 michelins I have on my wheeler so Id like the same thing for my CUCV .The michelins are tough as nails too .I killed 2 of the hummer tires without much effort , granted they may have been rotted but still ..... -A

I did a year or 2 ago , has it been updated ? There is a place in Canada that has them but shipping is about $300 so it would cost about a grand for 4 tires in75% tread or something .

I don't know what happened to the grill guard, it wasn't there when I got it. It didn't have shackles either, but I got some on E-bay. I keep them in the cab so they don't bang around. I can attach them when needed.

Color? Rustoleum camo deep forest green. :)
