Hey all,
Well I'm feeling kinda dumb. I am reading through TM 9-2320-209-20-2-1 (Organizational level-Troubleshooting multifuel M35) and I keep finding things that say to refer to volume 3. My problem is, I can't find volume 3!!aua Could anyone please direct me to this "volume 3"? It doesn't state a TM number so I'm kinda lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TM 9-2320-209-20-3-1 . The 3 is volume 3 book 1. The 209 is the deuce, 10 would be operator, the 20 would be Organizational Level and 34 would be Direct Support and General Support. The last, 35 would be Depot Level.

Too many deuce TMs confuse the newer user. All of the deuce TMs with 209 are one series, all of the ones with 361 are a different series. I believe there are between 10 and 12 books in the 209 series and only 5 in the 361 series. Stick with the 361 series until you get comfy with TMs.

Thanks very much for the help. This has answered a bunch of questions for me. Ok, So is one more in depth than the other? Depot level would be the most in depth? Or am I way off? Thanks again for the help. I have alot more reading to do.

Laymens terms. -10 is the owners manual. -20 (-24) is unit maintenance (do it yourself manual), -34 (-35) is depot maintenance (think dealaer service manual). Manuals ending in P are parts manuals.

There are few if anything in the 209 manuals that isn't covered in the 361 manuals.

There is also a 1965 209 series (in paper) that is handy to have especially if you have a gasser.

Ok, this is a little off topic but I didn't want to start a new thread for this question. Is the primary fuel filter canister O-ring the same as the secondary and final fuel filter canister O-rings? I just got the 3 filters from Napa and the rings with all three filters are the same. Then I noticed on a surplus website that the rings might be different but I can't tell. Thanks in advance.
