TMG overhead Consele Wiring

The instructions say to tap the wiper motor hot wire to gain power to the console. Did anyone do this? I am just not sure i want to distrub that fully sealed factory wire. I can run the leads to the battery box but trying to think of another option. Do any of you have a pic of tapping into the wiper motor? I am concerned of how it will lool also.

It is just the nearest wire to the system. You can easily run a new wire. They just did it to the closest one. It is your preference.
