Holy Shit. That's an armored ECV/REV HMMWV folded like a coke can. Anyone know what hit it? Would have thought the steel armor skeleton would have held up better than this.

Very eye opening.
I had to do some research on this one, because like you say, this an armored HMMWV with 3-4” all around and was thinking that either a big rig hit it at high speed or it fell/ rolled from some serious height in order to fold like that…as it turns out, it happened in 2009 in TX on 35, the Humvee went “airborne “ over the median into oncoming traffic and “slammed” into a car and an 18-wheeler, combined with a garbage truck, a trailer truck and other cars (about 6 totally). The 18-wheeler driver was killed, another driver and a/ the soldier. (not clear if there was anyone else inside).
Look at that rear seat still standing, undeformed, any other civi car, SUV or pick-up truck would look 10 times worse in that major head on type of collision.

EDIT: link to story

That is the same part of I35 I hydroplaned a little 1/2T pickup at speed pulling a large trailer full of pickup "caps". in the late 70s. I was watching the world coming at me through the driver side window, already had the wheels at full left lock as I headed off the right side of the highway, fortunately when the front wheels left the roadway they started getting some traction and by the time I was in the bar ditch I was going in a straight line, still at speed, scared the bejeezus out of me.
I am glade one of the things my old drivers ed teacher preached repeatedly was "keep your damn foot off of the brake and steer your way out of trouble" as it would have ended differently had I just planted my foot on the brake as many drivers would have done!
