tow bar

I was trying to acquire a medium towbar for my truck. I noticed that Austin Aviation on ebay sells them for about $500. Is this a fair price? I figure another 100 bucks or so in shipping--seems kinda expensive. Any thoughts or opinions?

it's close. I bet your going to pay more than that for shipping though. they are heavy.

I think it's a bit high.......................................... fella at Aberdeen was selling 'em for $350.

Of course, you'll have to burn several hundred dollars of fuel to get to Aberdeen............

The GOVT pays $1800 each for a towbar... So $400-500 isnt bad..

I am just about an hour and a half north of that guy, he is in Marble Falls. What part of FL are you in? I am goin on a trip the first weekend in april to tampa, and would be happy to add the towbar to the bed of the truck for you. Let me know.
