Tracking a wire issue

Ah I see, I need to crimp tool extractor. Have to get one. What mil-spec ends are used in these connectors?

I must have scrolled to fast as I didn't find what wire size and plug that is. Looking online I need the wire size to get the right # tool

So this is a 14 gauge Cannon plug. It notes to solder tips.

Here is the wiring harness coupler at the rear. You can see where it was spliced. This was tightly wrapped so I didn't notice it before.

Plug with the identifying letters on it to match the wire diagram'

Exposed bad wire. This coupler uses a solder cup. My solder iron wouldn't get hot enough to remelt the solder so I am on the hunt for a hotter one. Remove the wire and replace it with a new one.

Purchased a 200w solder iron and that worked. Popped the old wire out and put in a new wire. Recoupled the connection and now my pump works again!
Learned a thing or two and glad it was a simple enough fix
