Tracking a wire issue

I must have scrolled to fast as I didn't find what wire size and plug that is. Looking online I need the wire size to get the right # tool

Here is the wiring harness coupler at the rear. You can see where it was spliced. This was tightly wrapped so I didn't notice it before.


Plug with the identifying letters on it to match the wire diagram'


Exposed bad wire. This coupler uses a solder cup. My solder iron wouldn't get hot enough to remelt the solder so I am on the hunt for a hotter one. Remove the wire and replace it with a new one.
