Tractor military trailer hitch

This is one of the handiest things I've ever built. I can hook onto a trailer and move it around without ever getting off the tractor. It also works good for hauling wood, water and whatnot around the farm with the tractor.

I love Tripoint hitches. Too bad you cant legally install them on trucks. DOT wont allow it.

I might just have to copy that design when I get my trailer. I had seem someone make on using just a 6" long post to move their trailer around with. Similar concept, but your is more secure.

The hitch just has a square receiver welded to it so I can insert other receiver hitches with a ball or whatever to move civilain trailers. If you'll notice there is also a ball mounted on the top for pulling gooseneck type trailers.

Say what? Not arguing, just don't have a clue.

...and interested because one of the ways I was thinking about adding a receiver hitch to Mah Deuce was with a quick-release 3-point setup.

Nice work and great trailer collection! Coincidentally I did something similar to a box blade last weekend. These tractor things sure are handy!

What!... ? Some UniMogs have three point hitches front AND back.

So what does that mean for M984E1-A3/MTVR owners that have essentially the same with the 'Stinger' recovery three point!!!

Doubt any of them would notice.


Nice tractor bye the way. IH 686? (Just the same as mine - also with identical receiver/gooseball/spear 3 point!!!, though I also have lugs on the bottom for a 2 way snowplough blade)
