I don't build mine to be cheaper... i build mine to be better... hitch height optimized to tow M1101 level... 6x6 1/4" wall for the main body of the bumper, mounted to the truck frame with 2x2 1/4" wall and 3/8" plate secured by grade 8 bolts x6, and the drawbar for the pintle riser uses a 3/4" towbar pin instead of the standard 5/8" tow pin....and the pintle riser was fabbed from 1/2" plate welded with 3 passes of 1/8" 7018 rod at 120amps..... the rear bumper for my M1009 will be very similar.
