This trailer is awesome. I saw it on one of the recent threads.

1-what's the name of this trailer
2-is it street legal?
3-is it a pintle hook or a 5th wheel?
4-if 2=yes,where can I find one?

Uh lets see, can't remember the designation but its a pretty standard and common mil flatbed. Bed sides are removable. It on a tow dolly from the looks of it so #3 is sorta both. 5th wheel trailer on a tow dolly with a pintle. I see no reason for it not to be street legal, we have several members that have towed trailer on dollys with no issues.

Oh that's a dolly? Darned I thought it was integrated into the trailer. I've always wanted to custom build an off-road motor home or travel trailer for BFE camping.

Does the dolly make it "off roadable"?

Well, it looks pretty well offroad in that pic, otherwise i have no idea, sorry. But i'm sure someone has a clue. I would imagine the answer would be not really. More for on road and limited excursions on poorly maintained "roads"

Well that 5th wheel sits at the same height as the truck. So a 5th wheel hitch in the bed + no siderails would make a fairly sturdy connection w/o the dolly. Thanks for the info. Future project #32,347 added to the list :-D
