So I was lucky enough to pick one up today, engine looks great and turns over. Anyone know where I can find a manual for this particular model?

Howdy,
Well maybe not for the unit, but, since you have the MEP-802a units, you have the Onan DN4M (Lister LPW4) engine. Is there any NSN tag anywhere?

I don't recognize this unit at all... and that center... thing... is not what I've seen in inventory. Do you have any data plates or other reference material? Did you buy it from somewhere that provided a NSN?

I have a knack for ending up with the oddball pieces. Here are some more pics, I am not there presently so I can't search for an NSN tag. Trying to figure out where to get a spare rim/tire to make recovery easier also.

Hah, no. It will provide back up AC for the barn in the event of a power outage. At least that is the plan for now. That Cat/Lister gen set looks a lot like this one:

I emailed a few cat dealers asking if they could ID it.

Howdy,
Because it has the 4-cylinder lister-petter engine, it is the older model which is considered a 15kw system with 96,000btu

To be used with DRASH shelters
AAR Mobility Systems 15KW diesel generator, trailer mounted, Powered by a Lister-Petter 4cyl diesel engine. Includes a Nordic Air Inc. ECU mounted on rear of trailer, 8 ton ECU, 96,000 BTU/HR model 2K36AF6A-M/M, 208-230V/3PH/60HZ with electronic temp control. Storage box mounted on front. Storage box contains flexible duct and cables. Single axle trailer mfr by C.H.I. Mobile Systems. Tire size 35x12.5x16.5

NSN 8340015139655 $46384.20
(note; there might be another NSN because this one is close, but not exactly.)

Howdy,

If the tires have not been changed from factory setup, then at least you see that it was a 35x12.5x16.5 tire. Some things might work like jacking it up and taking the rim somewhere to mount a tire.

Good luck with your recovery.

Thank you, that is fantastic! Less BTU but that is quite alright for my use. Would that be a standard HMMV tire?

Edited. Looks like it can run single phase also, wonder if I can get it to run the full load single phase or not hooked to a single phase ac set. Pic of lug pattern on tires also.

She is home, 600 hours on it, clean as a whistle. Someone disconnected the oil and temp sending units, and I need to pick up some batteries and a fuel filter. Trying to figure out the best batteries to put in there.

Just got off the phone with ringpower and these can indeed push 15KW in single phase configuration. Will post a video of starting her up later
