Trans Adaptor Gasket

When i removed my Fly Wheel the other day to get it resurfaced, i noticed there was a gasket between the trans adaptor and the back of the motor. It came apart in many peices and couldnt be saved. I dont know if i just have no idea where to look for stuff or they arent anywhere to be found. My Question is, does anyone know where to find one of these things? Or can i get by without one using some RTV?

..i just bought an entire gasket set for my tranny, does yours have that big gasket for that aluminum ring that goes on that the tranny bolts up to?

in the TM its called a transmission adaptor gasket, its about the same diameter as the flywheel...pretty big gasket, and it didnt come with my trans gasket set.

Ahh, the big round skinny ring? Nope, mine does not have those. I wonder if its in the motor gasket set. I'll have to look tomorrow.

I will probably just put a small bead of red hightemp RTV on it and call it good...im just worried that this may be an issue...

It comes with the engine gasket set. Just use a VERY THIN coat (spray can)) of COPPER RTV.
