is this something that can be fixed or would it be more cost effective to replace with a take out? Im trying to hurry and do something as it is sort of a daily driver.

With how cheap transmissions are, and your time crunch, it's way easier to replace. There's a transmission in the classifieds, and I know you'd get a lot of responses to a WTB thread in the classifieds.

Just as a update I got my transmission in today and I am loving being able to drive my truck around again. I had rough time with it but I got it in there. I had to get some stitches in my hand a couple of weeks ago because of a mishap at work but I had the out by last monday. well this past Sunday I was working on putting the trans in, and one of the bolts that holds the lifting brackets in came out will it was in the air and the chain came loose and caught my hand and pulled it up into the come along I was using. It didnt hurt me too bad just tore open my cut again. But I got It in today and drove it about twenty miles and I love it!:driver: Thanks to everyone who helped In getting the transmission to me.
