Transfercase ID --HELP

Okay!! I admit it!!I must be out of control in this hobby(Oh, honey yer gettin'this all blown out of proportion- I can stop anytime I want to---------!
Ended up getting stuff I don't really need and don't even know forsure what it is!!
Can anyone help to ID this transfercase and wheel?Got these at an auction and the only clue was an Ambulance body up on the hill(just the box) a rear door and this wheel laying close by this transfercase.
My guess is M-43 or maybe it was a M-725 Jeep????Wheel is very nice shape and so is the transfer case.
Seems like I've developed a real bad habit of getting 1-2 parts then trying to find the rest of the vehicle to finish (start?)a restore.
Its really scary --- I have an Airpath Aircraft compass in the closet-----------:roll:.
