Yep. The money you've spent there may be lost :(, but don't spend another dime in that place. Don't let them get their hands on it again.

Look at it this way - what else do you need to have broken, and how much more money do you need to throw away in order to get your truck where you want it to be?

Oh, nothing? None?

Good, then you don't have a reason to go back to that shop.

Find a local diesel truck club, and ask the members there what shops they trust.

sorry you are having so much trouble. these guys you are using for mechanics are not helping you, there re just taking your money. no way should that truck be at 240 in 6 miles. like i said before, at that temp, you will start to hear convulsions from the cooling system. are you loosing coolant? overflow bottle have fluid? the trans temp is only that high because its running through the 240 degree radiator. have the engine problem diagnosed first. thanks. mark
