After 15 mins of hard driving in sand on the beach my 1989 m998 the transmission fluid overflowed out of the dipstick. Thoughts ?

If it is pouring out you have big issues if it is just leaking then I would check the transmission vent tube if it is blocked you can build up pressure and some fluid can come out the dipstick but not much. Good luck. Eddy

Only a couple of ounces came out the dipstick when it was hot and working hard. I let it cool and it was fine. I will check the vent, thank you !
