Transmission leaking into air cleaner HMMWV

I'm sure this has been covered before But I cannot remember the repair I think something to do with the fording valve
Any help will be appreciated

No that happens when the transfer case cooling loop cracks and the transmission fills the transfer completely full until is spews from the vent, called “vampire syndrome” or something like that. Bypass the cooling loop, drain the transfer, refill the transmission and go on with life.

Yes, there is LOTS of info on here just by searching for vampire. Do you have a 3 speed or a 4 speed? When I first got mine, I had transmission fluid in my air filter and I thought I had the vampire issue as well, but I have the 3 speed and when I went to order the part from one of the vendors on here (sorry, I cannot remember which one it was right now) they told me that mine was not susceptible to that being a 3 speed and to simply change my air filter and keep an eye on it. I did just that and have not had any fluid in the filter since (fingers crossed).
