Yea, there was a downed Hemlock just ahead on the logging trail that needed removed. We got hung up on the basket on a creek crossing briefly. This is the first time I've driven a Mule and I must say VERY IMPRESSIVE! I've been looking for a few years and was thinking of a Polaris Ranger, but big bucks! and since I like old stuff this is so much more classic. I have several Caterpillar crawler tractors that date from 1925-1955 that I restored and work alittle.
The usefullness of the mule is without bounds. I wish they were cheaper, but I understand the fact they are now collectable, and so useful, it drives the value up and out of my price range. I saw one for $800 about 10 years back, I must've been stoopid to pass that up. Next ignorant farmer I find selling a mule in good shape for under $1K, I'm getting my Benjamins and a trailer to haul it home....
