troop seat help??????

so i am planing to build troop seats/racks for my m35 so i can take my friends/family and there kids on a hay ride in the back of the deuce the week before halloween.

My question is i need to know what the bolt hole spacing is on the oak boards for the side rails. I am buying new oak for it all the way around (not cheap) so i want to make shure i get it right. I have the headder board so i can copy those but i would greatly apreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction here or had some they could messure.

It may be cheaper and definitely easier to simply buy some troop seats. I see them for sale quite often, both fiberglass and wood.

If you have the uprights, put them in the truck, make sure their square, then clamp the wood to them and backdrill your holes.

If you can get them moved from Atlanta to MI, I got them for 250 a complete set in fiberglass. The GA SS Rally may afford an opportunity for someone to pick them up and move them north for a very low price.

I would love to find s complete set of troop seats but I just don't think I have enough time. I have the uprights and will probly go the back drilling route but I didn't know if there was a specific mesurement to them. Plus I will be staining the wood with clear not painting it so as long as I don't mess up I don't mind. spending a couple of hundred on it (200 for the wood which I didn't think was a bad price)
