I appreciate the response. What would the easiest way to disassemble the the bearings and such? I'm trying not to take off the bolts, leaf pack or dog bones.

Remove both U-bolts. Then loosen bolts #11 and separate (pry) the spring pack off of the spring seat. It should easily slide off, after removing the spindle nuts

Do I just need to put the jack stands under the trunion?

Of course...! Axles will no longer carry the weight of the truck, once you pulled the U-bolts.
