Thanks! May have to start carrying some of that. I managed to have success using the cringe worthy method of holding the lines w/ vice grips while turning the nuts.
Few hundred miles later and all is working good in that department! Now the current issue is w/ my T-case. It's throwing a lot of oil so I know a least one seal is bad but it's also popping out of low range. Wondering if that could be and adjustment since the lever sits right on the floor when in low and maybe that's not engaging it far enough? Or is it something internal?

Might very well be that the TC lever needs adjustment (like you mentioned). Remove the floor board and see if it works a little better? If so, a little adjustment will improve it - before you ruin it - by running it partially engaged.
