some chevies DO NOT HAVE A FRAME NUMBER, some do,, there is a discussion of when this stopped, started etc,, you'll have to get the truck inspected, and show them the data plate, and vin number. and your BILL of sale. My k-51 chevy panel, DOES not have any frame numbers, i've looked and looked,, and do not vin the frame,, go to a different inspection station if you have to, or another BMV.. good luck,, jc

So far haven't made much headway on this, but haven't given up. 68427vette, yep haven't found no frame numbers on this truck at all. Thanks
