No wonder why the brakes are so strong on my 925a2.

The engine mounted air compressor draws fresh filtered air from the engine intake manifold. When the turbo is awake, this intake is under positive boost pressure. So, under boost, the boost is also pushed into the air compressor inlet, therefore supercharging it.

And now we know why 8.3's are better, because they have turbo-supercharged air compressors.

-THE END-

Yeah, little wonder your compressor has so much supercharged pressure, your puny 8.3 has to run at 25 psi boost just to keep the truck rolling at 10 mph unlike the 400, a real otr engine. (Lol)

Had you read the -10 (basic operators manual), you would have known this.

It's explained in the second chapter of the ninth paragraph, shown in figure E-3.14.

I just don't understand why you guys never read the TMs... :shrugs:

The next one has even more air compressor boost. 39psi. Almost don’t even need the compressor.
Meh...this means when your compressor is running, you're loosing engine boost. It's like having a factory built turbo leak, haha. Guess that's why the 8.3L is rated and 240hp and the NHC250 is rated at 250hp.

It might explain the busted rear window though. Extra pressure in the air system...leaking dash valve...windows rolled up...BOOM! That extra pressure has got to go somewhere, lol.
