I was driving one of my deuces today and got a surprise when a rubber air hose under the dash blew off. It was so loud and instantly happened while driving I could not immediately diagnose it. Got home on limited brakes and found a hose under the dash had popped off of the front of a valve on the firewall. I pushed it back on, started the truck, once pressure built back up it shot off again. Any suggestions?

Forgot to mention its a 68 Jeep Kaiser. Some of the fitings on these were different than later models. My 71 is different.

Just got out from under there. Its the large hose that goes to the air pressure gauge. It fits into the inside of a metal housing. Not over a tebe or fitting where you can use a hose clamp. I pushed it back in, then it blew out again.

I have replaced that hose with new ends(NPT) with hose barbs, and air hose with clamps.

Just got back under before it got too dark, unscrewed the fitting on the firewall area. It appears to be a brass, high pressure type fitting, but didn't want to break the pressure gauge. Any advice on getting that end loose? It just seems to spin. ive not experienced this before and don't want to break any more than is already broken. Any advice is appreciated.
