Can anyone tell me what " 96 CR 379 EN" means?

Pretty sure EN means Engineers...havent a clue about hte CR...

the 96CR stands for 96th Regional Readiness command based in Salt Lake City with command over Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, the Dakotas and Montana, the 379EN does indeed mean engineering battallion, more info here

I live near Salt Lake City - tried to go see what a Deuce looked like up close at the National Guard yesterday. They moved the base! There were 50 - 100 trucks and motorized artillery there since before I can remember. Now I have no idea where they are at.

Come to think of it...i'm gonna have to lose the desert sand paint scheme for Utah.

Thanks Jimbo - that would be great. Good luck picking a paint scheme for Utah! There is red rock desert, regular Nevada / Arizona looking desert, and lots of forrested alpine stuff all over the north. Maybe you could find some of that chameleon paint that changes color in different light, only in camoflauge.
