If you have a high tolerance for crotchety old men, an operation worth looking at is "George Moore truck salvage" in Keeseville NY at 1823 Rte 9 near Lake Champlain. Lots of large military stuff, less and less old vehicles. Not an easy place to find or to deal with but has some merit... Neil

Tom- It seems that every decision is made on a whim, one day he collects it and won't sell, the next day he willingly sells it despite telling everyone he needs it for a future project. Hard to make sense of it, maybe he doesn't even know.... Neil

I stopped there a few times. Always left unhappy. It seems they want the highest dollar, or else they will keep it. Prices are way higher than anywhere else. Not cooperative at all. Their trucks were on ebay a few times, but I dont know if they got what they were asking for, because I passed by again recently, and all the same old trucks are lined up out front. <br>

Cool, a salvage man.
Maybe he knows someone who can help me move my little 14000 lb
duece and 1/2 from Conway NH to St.Petersburg Florida.
Anyone with any advice,
please pipe in on the
"Operation Beetle Bailey" thread.
