Using electric fuel pump with two filters

Going to install new Jeggs electric fuel pump 5-7 psi is a lift pump still necessary?
removed tank to evaluate sediment was some but sending unit had no filter on it. Have new 31 gal tank from LMC including all necessities straps insulation & sending unit. Reinstalling fuel line to pump to firewall with filters before and after pump. Ran great before till filters clogged, bypassed till got home. Which called for all alterations listed!
Hope to get it completed soon after ugly winter let’s up !!!

If you mean the stock mechanical LP, the answer is NO.

What brand / model filter base is that. I need to do that to my rig.

That particular one comes stock on the Brazilian-made MB OM366 truck engines and is probably manufactured by MANN


But you can find a very similar dual filter base (WIX part Nr. 24093), for example here...

Thanks. Didn’t think so but always check myself. Appreciate the assistance I’ve received from others on this forum, have had few issues since purchased my M1009 like always learned buyer beware of hidden issues. Well I’ve found out afterwards as we all do. Again Thank You !!!

I recently upgraded my fuel system also,do yourself a favor and install a fuel pump wiring harness with a relay. I used wix 33270 for pre pump filter and I have a wix 33005 spin on under the hood.Love the 31 gallon tank gives me a 450 mile fuel up.
