Reviving an old thread….the rubber diaphragm in mine has a semi circular tear in the center..normal or shot ? remedies anyone ?

Every commercial truck with air brakes has a pressure protection valve, it is available wherever truck parts are sold. (including NAPA)
The pressure setting does not much matter as long as it is somewhere between 70 and 85 psi.
All it does is shut off the air supply to nonessential devices, air horn, cab air, wipers, CTIS, fan clutch in the event of a major air leak thus protecting you brake air supply. They go for about 28$, most are now non-adjustable.
