Victory Day Rehearsal St Petersburg. Military Vehicle Procession

I'm still here in Russia spending the last week in St Pete. I was luck enough to get to see the full rehearsal for the Victory Day parade yesterday (Sunday). Here is a video I shot of the military vehicle procession.https://youtu.be/4yINCQ4fC5E

I stopped here and took a look on my way to Crimea Russia.

The truck with the blast shield is equipped with the Katyusha rocket launcher. The shields protect the cab from the rocket exhaust. The Germans referred to them as Stalin’s Organ. Most rocket artillery isn’t particularly accurate, however for area bombardment it is devastating. And since they are on wheeled chassis they could fire a salvo and be on the move within seconds after firing.

Interesting you should mention this. A little over a week ago I was in an area that was hit by a "GRAD" attack (multi-rocket launcher) in the city of Donetsk. This is a residential and sport complex about 3km from the front.
