WOW, I finaly found this thread!

I have NO data plates so here is what I have (and where I got it)

VIN (off the Frame):0325 30313
Reg (from inner door panels):4D5970
NSN (from GL sticker):2320000771617
Veh type:M35A2 W/OW
Picked up: 1 July 2008 from Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio Texas (GL auction #3344)
Tooele Depot "limited" rebuild 8/92, CARC 93

Bumber marked: 32 MED BDE TSC/MED 530
Which you have already deciphered for me (32d Medical Brigade, medical training unit based at Ft. Sam Houston, Tactical Service Command truck #530)

Thank you in advance Sir!

Nomenclature:TRUCK CARGO 2-1/2T Model:M35A2 NSN:2320000771616
Serial Number:32530313 Registration Number:4D65870 Year of Mfg:1970
Manufacturer:65909
I posted the deciphered bumper number on one of your other threads about the bumper number. TSC is not Tactical Service Command--there is not such animal. It is Training Support Company and I comfirmed this by looking up the makeup of the 32nd Medical Brigade at Fort Sam Houston on the internet. #530 doesn't mean they have 530 trucks. It could be just about anything such as 5th platoon 3rd squad or 5th platoon 3rd truck or just about anything.

See is this one is in dbase. It shows a 1961 Ford M151A1 on the title. It has no data plate on the dash. The "vin" listed on the title seems to be a reg number. Can you see if you can find info on a reg number.

Reg number 2B7653
Veh Type M151A1
just bought from private party.
Chuck,

Ain't coming up with anything. See about a frame number when you can.

Stock# 2320-926-0873
ID# NKO77W 0640-11319
Contract # DAAEO7-73-C-0232

I don't really know where to look for the bumper numbers or the ones on the frame. I assume these are stamped somewhere? On the bumper now are some numbers, but they are taped off and tan while the rest of the truck is OD. anyways those numbers if you may need them are

passenger side 7GP 6T
driver side TAD 235

We bought the truck January of 2008 in Boyce Va.

thanks!
Bumper numbers are what you have above--7th Group (which is a transportation group, just know this from experience), 6th Transportation Battalion, TAD is the training folks for the Transportation Center and School at Fort Eustis, VA.

Here's what I came up with:
Organization: TRANSPORTATION AUGMENTATION DETACHMENT
Location: FT EUSTIS, VIRGINIA
Nomenclature:TRUCK CARGO 2-1/2T Model:M35A2C NSN:2320009260873
Serial Number:64011319 Registration Number:NK077W Year of Mfg:1974

I am looking at it this weekend but I think this one was released a very long time ago. I am going to look for the "budd" tag and the body serial number tomorrow. If I get one I will post it.

Thanks

VIN info

O.K. first of all, you should charge a modest $5.00 fee or so for this and I think that we would all be glad to pay that.
Your service in this area is really great for us owners of former Army or ARNG vehicles.

I just made my 2nd purchase and have not been allowed to "rescue" it from Uncle Sam's grip as of yet and I too would like to inquire as to the history of my truck.
Purchased from G.L. at Camp Shelby, MS 07/2008.
Hood markings by G.L. make it appear to have been inventoried in Nov 2007.
L/H bumper marking "MS-184" above with "298" below it. R/H bumper markings "367" above with "464" below. Reported to be a 1976 which is wrong. NSN2320-00-926-0873, M35A2C with paint less than a year old. Registration #NK05A8.
Was not allowed to look blow paint on frame for confirmation of numbers. Has upgraded 24 volt electric wiper kit installed and speedo has 28,757 miles on it.
