hello again , does anyone know if you can search some type of data base for military vehicles using your vin number too find what branch and unit your truch was in , any help would be great . thanks

And that is only if it was Army. CARNAC can not access the other branches.

There is a not a database that is available to the general public.

What is the Unit number that is stamped on the door pillar dataplate? If it is something like N12345, then it is Army. Navy and Air Force use different numbers

ok have a 1985 cucv blazer , US army nsn 2320011232665 , vin # 1G8ED18J2FF193572 . door pillar data plate # nf09et ,the cucv m-1009 was purchased in eau clair wisconsin , the color was green carc 383 series . thank you for your help ,and if you can supply a link for the donation , i would be glad too help, former 63 bravo pa guard 128 th chemicial co ... one more note, no bumper id or unit markings visible .

The truck started out Army. Until CARNAC gets his computer back up and running you will have to wait. No ETA at this time.
