The Mods will delete it as appropriate. Yeah, he definitely went a little overboard and took advantage on that one. Mods, please delete this post as well when you delete his advertisement. Thanks for all your help.
I'll go in edit it

Classified Ads: Do not post commercial advertising. Commercial advertising is a pay-per-ad service. Please email the webmaster if you would like to post a commercial/vendor ad. Please keep all classified ads military vehicle related. Do NOT post more than 10 ads at any one time. Users with more than 10 ads will have their oldest ads deleted. Members who consistently abuse the system by posting more than 10 ads will have the classified ad privileges revoked. You may only advertise items you own (No posting items for other people).

You said yourself, the item is non military

With all due respect, I don't think that is what is meant by commercial advertising. If he is a SSer, and has a vehicle to transport MVs or parts in, he can probably advertise it. It doesn't mean he is a commercial vendor by profession who would advertise on here as such. He should be able to email the administrator on a one time basis and get permission to sell a trailer for carrying MV equipment around. I know there is a demand for his product here. And it would put him in a better position to support his green hobby.

I know I couldn't do without mine which is used to support my green addiction.

Not being argumentative. Just a thought from another viewpoint, as I've seen civilian trailers sold on here previously.
I think you are reading too much into the rule above. The entire rule is not dedicated to commercial advertisers; if it were you would not see some of the ads you do pop up on the site, because I have seen some that are defenitely NOT MV related.

Only the first sentence is directed toward commercial advertisers, avter that it gives general rules for the classified section...

Keep all classified ads military vehicle related (for everybody, not commercial advertisers)

No more then 10 ads at a time (for everybody, not commercial advertisers)

Only advertise items you own, no posting for other people (for everybody, not commercial advertisers)

Does the classifieds still have the 10 post limit ?
Or is it 10 for sale ads and 10 wanted to buy ads?

We actually had a little discussion about that last week...not settled yet. Because the premium membership is supposed to deliver unlimited classified posts...we're talking about the possibility of a rule change.

I'm sure I won't be impacted by any change, but I would recommend if a change is made, premium members who have already paid get a grandfather clause. It should cut down on some of the complaining. Good luck, whatever you decide.

Since there is discusission on the classifieds, it's in the rules for venders to use the vendors forum , but there are several vendors using the classifieds . Maybe there should be a vendors section in the classifieds for there ads to keep private sales ads and wanted to buy ads seperate from vendor ads .
