It's like armaflex insulation with some very very sticky glue.


Had a hard time trying to keep it from sticking to me while putting it on.

Lots of similar products.... Seems from all I'v read on the topic all pretty much same result no matter how expensive (or not ) they are. Ton of discussion on that topic all over the internet. Am curious though on how well the various types actually hold up.

Keep us posted on how well this stays bonded to the various places you put it.

I am curious what the combined effect would be. It was 114 degrees where i was last week.

3 rolls 24" x 40" that stuff is sticky.
We shall see if it's good stuff.
It's only been on for 1 run up to operating temps so we will have to wait and see.

I will add this. This will NOT bond or stick to Lizard skin or any type of Rhinoliner surface on it's own. The stuff is not very sticky at all honestly. After a few heat cycles it is going to come off. Use a 3M spray adhesive on the back of it before applying.

Yes! Did this to ours last year. We used a 'Sound Mat' type of product that was tar-like on one side and reflective aluminum on the other and came in sheets. Super sticky and it has not come off in the heat or even looked to peel anywhere..

Huge improvement in heat transfer and sound level.

Just do it..
